Petra Phillips-Hill joined the practice straight from school in 1989. Family commitments meant a brief departure in 2000, rejoining us in 2001.  She has made an important contribution to the practice as it has expanded and has thoroughly enjoyed being part of all aspects of the Warren House Veterinary Centre. Petra was always keen to assist in both equine and small animal nursing and now particularly enjoys our busy specialized small animal operating days with Peter.  She has also taken on the role of dealing with small animal insurance claims.
Away from work Petra has two daughters, the eldest is Terri who enjoys going to stage school and socialising with her friends. Her younger daughter Toni also goes to stage school. Petra and her husband Darren also have Molly and Malley, the cats, Magdalena and Nebracso, her two Yorkies. She also has her old pony Brin.

You may not always recognize Petra as she always has a different hair colour.
Kelly Mason  (née Myatt) has been with the practice since 2000. She has a particular interest in radiography and is our mainstay for ordering our drugs, equipment, dealing with account queries and whatever else is needed to run the practice!  Kelly also has always been happy to help with all aspects of our small animal and equine nursing and has also volunteered to organize our nurses’ rotas, holiday covers, etc.

Kelly and her husband Ashlee have a wonderful, happy son, Liam, born in 2003. In Kelly's spare time she is an aerobics  instructor at

the Lichfield branch of Boogie Bounce. She also enjoys spending time with her family and her new best friend, her i-phone. When parted from her phone she does enjoy walking her two dogs Emily and George. Liam also has a tortoise called Toby.

Donna Besant joined the practice early in 2006.  She has adapted very well to our busy summer stud season and our ever increasing small animal caseload.  She has a particular interest in both small animal and equine surgery and has a particular flair for caring for our small animal in-patients. In Donna's spare time she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has two large Dogue De Bordeaux's called Mini and Sox and a Rottweiller with a long curly tail called Kai. She also has a ancient Shetland pony called Daisy who lives at the practice. Donna and her partner Jay are also expecting their first child in October.

Kim  Hughes is our main equine nurse. Her duties include maintaining the equine laboratory and equine supplies, assisting the vets with any surgical procedures and  helps with our busy small animal clinics. Out of work Kim enjoys competing on her horses and walking her numerous rescue dogs. She has a rescue cat called ‘fat faced frank’ who was brought into the surgery as a stray feral cat who had been hit by a car and had a broken jaw. The nurses became so fond of him and Kim decided to give him a home. Kim takes in all sorts of waifs and strays to rehabilitate; she can often be found with a pigeon or two.

Aimie Walklate joined the practice in 2008. She has a daughter called Elouise who takes up most of her time. In what time she does have spare she spends attending to her never ending menagerie. Aimie has a rescued American Bulldog called Rocky, two Chihuahua's Honey and Sunny Jim, Three Cats, one spur thighed tortoise, two leopard tortoises, one Californian king snake, one grey banded king snake, two African land snails, three rabbit's, one hamster, one welsh pony called Laddie and her daughter's Shetland pony Rambler and a partridge in a pear tree. On the weekends Aimie travels across the country to Classic car shows with her partner Karl.

Vicky West joined the practice in 2010. She has just completed the first part of veterinary nurse training at Rodbaston College. Vicky's main hobby is horse riding. She has two horses, a Doberman called Nala and a cat called Matthew. She also enjoys socialising with friends.

Wendy Dawes is our small animal receptionist. Outside of work Wendy enjoys spending time with her three horses Penny, Jasper and Snoopy. She also has a Shih Tzu called Harry and a rescued Cavalier cross Chihuahua called Lilly.
